One of the Most Important Things You Can Do as a Caregiver

Fearless Caregiver’s Conference

Caregiver’s Conference Planned in Palm Beach Gardens

A limited number of free tickets are being offered for a caregiver’s conference in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. on March 5th, 2013.

The “Fearless Caregiver” conference is for people who are caregivers to those suffering from long-term debilitating conditions.

“It is an honor to be one of the speakers at a conference that helps caregivers get the support they need,” said Dr.

Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s Disease or PD is a neurodegenerative disorder; it may progress slowly but worsens over time.  Symptoms in the advanced stages of this disease can include slowed movements, tremors, and memory loss.  Many sufferers find themselves increasingly dependent on their caregivers as their condition declines.   No cure for PD has been discovered, but medications are available to reduce the effects of its symptoms.

Memory Loss – Free Screening

Significant memory loss is not caused by normal aging alone but usually indicates an underlying disease or disorder.  Palm Beach Neurological Center offers a FREE Screening to those who have experienced signs of memory loss.

If you are experiencing signs of memory loss, have family and friends who you’ve noticed changes in, or have a family history of Alzheimer’s disease or related illness then take advantage of this Free Screening and learn about potential new treatment options.
