Dr. Tuchman graduated from Tulane University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Tuchman received his medical degree at the University of Florida School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He completed his residency at Tulane University for Neurology and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for Psychiatry.
Dr. Tuchman is Board Certified in Neurology, as well as in Psychiatry, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. In addition, Dr. Tuchman is certified in Neuroimaging and is board eligible in Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), and Evoked Potentials. Dr. Tuchman has attended post-graduate fellowship training in Neuroimaging, Epilepsy, Cerebrovascular Diseases and headache management.
Dr. Tuchman is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology. He is also a member of the Florida Society of Neurology, for which he served as President 1990-1991. Dr. Tuchman is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine-London/Neurology by invitation.
Dr. Tuchman has maintained a private practice in Neurology in Palm Beach Gardens since 1983. His special areas of interest are memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, headache treatment, Diabetic Neuropathy, pain after Shingles and Cerebrovascular diseases. Dr. Tuchman serves as the Medical Director of our Clinical Research Department.
Dr. Tuchman is bilingual and offers consultations in Spanish.
